Susan Nami

Education:
Bachelor of Arts in English Literature (St. Michael's College, VT)
Master of Arts in Teaching/English (The College of New Jersey)
14 years in education as a teacher of language arts/literacy in Hillsborough. Mrs. Nami has not only excelled as an outstanding teacher of literacy at HMS, but as been active in teacher professional development as well, presenting turnkey workshops to staff on the topic of trauma-informed teaching practices for secondary classrooms and as a co-presenter at the NJ State Equity in Schools Conference (2021) on the power of supporting student leadership for anti-racism and cultural awareness in public schools.
Extracurriculars: Founding co-adviser for HMS-CARES, a student leadership & service club to promote positive school climate & cultural sensitivity through active anti-bullying/anti-racism activities, member of BoroCares/BoroSafe, served on the School Safety & Climate Team, mentor for new teachers and student mentor.

Kaitlin Esposito
HMS School Social Worker - Child Study Team HMS/ARIS
Education:
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology & English (Rutgers University)
Master of Arts in Social Work (Rutgers University)
13 years in education. Started at HES, then worked at ARIS for several years, and now works at both ARIS and HMS.
Mrs. Esposito is a licensed social worker in the state of NJ. In September 2024, she provided training to Robert Wood Johnson/UMDNJ pediatric and adolescent psychiatrists on school-based services for students with mental health disorders.
Extracurriculars: Hosted a parent support groups for students with behavioral and emotional disabilities (at HES), served on the School Safety & Climate Team at ARIS, member of the Crisis Management Team at ARIS & HMS, anti-bullying specialist at ARIS, served on the Superintendent’s Focus Group with Mr. Volpe.
